Melissa Frakman is Vice President for North America Operations and Head of National Partnerships at Zomato, a global foodtech company with operations in 22 countries.
Melissa is an Advisor to the Emerging Markets Institute of Cornell University’s Graduate School of Management and a guest lecturer at NYU and Georgetown University. Prior to Zomato, she was Director of the U.S.-India Business Council where she advised Fortune 500 companies, investors, and startups on cross-border business development, strategy, and policy. At the Council she led a working group of the U.S. payments industry aimed at growing India’s FinTech ecosystem.
Previously, she was International Business Development Lead for Sabre Systems, a Fellow at the Colin Powell Center, and an advisor to microfinance institutions in New Delhi attracting global private equity funding. Originally from Vancouver, Frakman studied at Columbia University, City University of New York, and the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.
