Dan Armstrong joined Ticketmaster/Livenation in 2015 as VP and GM of Distributed Commerce, with a mission to connect fans with off-platform ticketing in a wide variety of verticals and industries, while reducing friction in the buying process. Prior to Ticketmaster, Dan spent 8 years at Connexity/Shopzilla, leading a number of key initiatives, including Shopzilla’s syndication of retail product content to a range of retail publishers. He also led product development and P&L for Shopzilla’s Beso.com website, and developed their early-stage mobile products, including mobile sites and apps. Before pivoting to the technology space, Dan spent years in the film industry as both a creative consultant and screenwriter.
Dan received B.A.’s in both Film and English from University of Wisconsin-Madison. He’s originally from Milwaukee, but has long called Los Angeles home with his wife and two children.
